DIGITAL PLANETARIUM PROGRAM: LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD, GRANDMA’S TELESCOPE
In this immersive show, specially designed for digital planetariums, we present an innovative adaptation of the classic tale Little Red Riding Hood in fulldome format. This unique proposal combines entertainment and education in an immersive environment, ideal for introducing children to astronomy in digital planetariums.
Throughout the show, educational content related to astronomy and environmental knowledge is explored, such as the seasons, the North Star, cardinal points, constellations, planets, weather phenomena, and even a fascinating journey into prehistory and the origins of human history.
The narrative reinforces key concepts such as time and space, means of transportation, animals, and the use of astronomical instruments like the telescope. The story culminates in an exciting journey through the Solar System, where Little Red Riding Hood visits all the planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
In this version of Little Red Riding Hood for digital planetariums, Little Red receives parts from her mother to repair her grandmother’s telescope, starting an amazing journey full of surprises, challenges, educational games, and time jumps that eventually lead her to her grandmother’s house. After scaring the wolf away, they both observe the night sky through the telescope, ending this experience with an educational space journey that also includes our natural satellite: the Moon.
Little Red Riding Hood is one of the most recognized children's stories worldwide, widely known in countries such as Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain, Italy, Russia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Japan, the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland), and China.
